Lyon Arboretum

             Nine volunteers brought vases they were donating and created arrangements using the tropicals and greenery from the Arboretum. The arrangements were offered for sale at the annual Lyon in Summer Fundraiser on Saturday, July 16.  Lyon Arboretum staff, led by Hajime Fujisaki provided ginger, anthuriums, heliconia, ti leaves, monstera and ferns. Volunteers were also able to select additional materials to enhance their arrangements. Everyone enjoyed the cool air and beauty of the surroundings as well as having the huge assortment of beautiful tropicals at their disposal. This event was chaired by President Ethel Aotani.
