One of our chapter's' educational projects is to reach out to Japanese language classes in several schools around Oahu.  Three members provided an ikebana demonstration and hands-on lessons for 15 members of an after school Japanese Club at Mililani Uka Elementary School.  This was probably the first experience with ikebana for most, if not all, of the members of this group.
