Pat Kubo taught members, friends and family members how to make kokedama, or moss balls used to hold small plants.  She provided several samples, shown above, and had well organized stations ready for each step of the process.  After demonstrating, everyone was ready to dig in and give it a try.  After successfully creating at least one kokedama holding a small anthurium, everyone enjoyed lunch of homemade sandwiches,fruit and more provided by several members.
