II Chapter 56 held its New Year luncheon celebrating the Year of the Rabbit at Waialae Country Club.  Pat Kubo read the story of Chinese astrology while board members acted out the roles of the 12 animals crossing the river to reach Buddha.  Attendees also enjoyed a small ikebana exhibit, shopped for used vases, and received Year of the Rabbit treat boxes created by May Lau.
