II Chapter 56 held its first in person workshop since the pandemic began. Because of the Delta strain of COVID-19 the guest demonstrator backed out and our own committee member, Gwen Nagata, took over  the class.  The focus was still ”Brighten someone’s day with an arrangement in a disposable container”.

She taught the participants how to use a pre-bundled bunch of flowers from a market to create an asymmetrical spring floral arrangement, and how to wire the roses from the bouquet. Her expertise led the class into creating their own beautiful arrangements and brought much joy and happiness to the attendees. Besides creating the arrangements, the human interaction shared was most memorable and enjoyed by the attendees.
