Membership Luncheon

10 September 2017

Mrs. Lily Nakao talked about and demonstrated the art of washi chigiri-e, pictures made from torn pieces of hand made and dyed Japanese paper, as taught in the Hakubi School of Chigiri-e.   This set the theme for the floral arrangements and the exhibitors used paper in a number of creative ways.  Even the vases for the centerpieces were wrapped in printed washi paper.  On a sad note, this was Mrs. Misawa's last luncheon with us.
