New Year's Luncheon

The chapter opened the new year with the theme of White or Wool to great the Year of the Ram. Accordingly, exhibit arrangements and table centerpieces incorporated white flowers and/or wool, resulting in some creative interpretations of the theme. After a short business meeting and a delicious lunch created by Kapiolani Community College's Culinary School, non-teaching participants were recruited from each table and divided into three teams. They were then given materials and worked together to create three additional themed arrangements in containers donated by three ceramic artists. These vases and arrangements were auctioned off.
