Tokai University Teacher's Workshop 2010
For the past six years, Ikebana International's Honolulu Chapter 56 has conducted a demonstration and hands-on workshop in Honolulu for the visiting faculty from universities and colleges across the United States. In June 2010, Bette Uyeda and Ethel Aotani, the chapter's immediate past and current President, demonstrated flower arranging in the style of the Ohara School of ikebana. Later, they prepared samples of a radial hana-isho centerpiece arrangement for the participants to try in a hands-on workshop.
