The inaugural event for the Chapter 56 Program year held a Membership Luncheon held at Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant in Pearl City with 3 new members in attendance.  The exhbition committee decorated the space with hanging baskets and provided 46 sake bottle arrangements for centerpieces.   After lunch and a brief business meeting, Barbara & Roger provided some tips on photographing arrangements, covering basics such as composition, lighting and background as well as some specific setting suggestions for cell phones.  It seems everyone was either too busy talking or looking at their phones to take any photos of this!  Everyone left with a sake bottle arrangement, along with an origami crane from a guest from Japan.
